How to Lower Your NH Home Energy Bills: Free Workshop
Looking for practical ways to make your home more comfortable while cutting down on heating and cooling costs? The Moultonborough Public Library, in partnership with Tri County Community Action Program, is hosting a free NHSaves Button Up Workshop on Thursday, October 29 at 6 pm at 4 Holland Street. The presentation will also be available over Zoom.
Led by Andy Duncan, certified energy auditor, this 1.5-hour presentation and Q&A session breaks down basic building science and whole-house weatherization techniques to help you “button up” your home for every season. You’ll learn about practical air sealing and insulation strategies, utility-sponsored home energy audits, and available rebates for appliances and high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment.
With energy costs on everyone’s minds, understanding available incentives and simple home improvements can make a big difference. Whether you own an older home or are considering future upgrades, this session offers clear, useful guidance to help you save energy and keep money in your pocket.
Sponsored by NHSaves and coordinated statewide by the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI), these workshops connect residents directly with local energy resources and savings programs.
Stop by on October 29 to ask questions and gather ideas for your home. For additional details or to learn about other statewide workshops, visit plymouthenergy.org/button-up. We hope to see you there!
Registered participants will receive the Zoom link 48 hours before the program.
