Friends of the Library
Mission Statement
The Friends of the Moultonborough Public Library is a volunteer group whose mission is to promote literacy in the community by supporting and enhancing the services of the library.
Programs
The Friends support a wide variety of programming for children and adults at the library. This includes historical performances, New Hampshire Humanities presentations, seasonal events including the Halloween Boo-levard and Egg Hung, as well as the annual Summer Reading Program. The Friends also coordinate many community events including their Literature Discussions with a Scholar, Book Author Luncheon, One Book One Child Book Giveaway, Chocolate Fare, and Holiday Fare. Meetings
The Friends meet at the library on the first Thursday of the month at 10am, except for January and February. Everyone is welcome!

Volunteer!
The Friends rely on volunteers for many events, including the Book Sale and House Tour (our biggest fundraiser). We also need help to set up, clean up, and provide treats and refreshments for some library programs. Do you have expertise you would be willing to share with the Friends? Have ideas for presentations, programs or fundraisers? Let us know! Come to a meeting, call the library, or email friends@moultonboroughlibrary.org.
